Torajan Tribe

We went to Makassar city and the governor welcomed us with a traditional dance of 20 girls.

Yesterday we spend 12-1/2 hour drive (long trip) inland to visit the Torajan tribe. They are famous in the Tongkonan house and unusual funeral rites.

On our cruise we stopped at and visited the Borobudur temple in Java .

Cruise from Singapore to Java Indonesia - Komodo Island

In January 2011, my wife and I went on a 2 week cruise from Singapore to Indonesia.

We were on Komodo Island to see the largest reptile in the world (3 meter long). We only saw 3 in one hour walk.
